Before you begin, you will have to register. If you've already registered, please sign-on and go to the Reviewer Area. Registration You will need to choose a username and password. Try to pick a password that you will not forget and is not easy to guess. Combinations of upper- and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation marks are best (passwords are case-sensitive: capital letters must be entered as capitals, and so on). You can change your password in the future, and if you ever forget your username and/or password, you can request a reminder via e-mail. Finally, please be sure you enter an e-mail address, a telephone number, and a fax number that you can use to handle The FASEB Journal's business. All correspondence regarding your submissions will be sent using the information you enter, so use an e-mail account that you check frequently, and take special care to enter all information correctly. REVIEWER AREA The Journal's policy is to solicit more reviewers than are necessary, as it is likely that at least one potential reviewer will decline to accept the review assignment. This policy allows the Journal to greatly expedite the review process. If in the process of accepting an assignment, you receive notification that a review is no longer necessary, most likely it is because enough reviewers have already accepted the assignment. It is relatively rare that potential reviewers are notified that they are no longer needed to review a manuscript, but if you receive such a notice, you will be considered for future assignments. If you have special circumstances that make it necessary for you to review a paper, please send an e-mail to journals{at}faseb.org. Active Reviews To start your review, click Edit/Submit Review. The first link on the next page is Reviewer Tools. This will take you to preset searches for similar articles on HighWire and PubMed. In Manuscript Evaluation, please assign a priority to the manuscript for The FASEB Journal and let us know whether you think we should accept or reject the manuscript, or request a revision. Finally, there are fields where you can input comments to the Editor and the Author. If you prefer, you can compose your comments in Microsoft Word or WordPerfect and upload the files here. Please note that comments directed to the Editor are not accessible to the authors. Uploaded Reviews Under Conversion Uploaded Reviews with Conversion Errors |
