Figure 7. Lovastatin treatment enhances the release of neurotrophic factors in the spinal cord of treated-EAE animals and in mixed Glial cell cultures. The mRNA expression of neurotrophic factors was determined by real-time PCR analysis in the spinal cord of LOV-treated/untreated EAE animals and controls as well as CM-treated mixed glial cell cultures as described under Materials and Methods.
